For one of my final projects, I decided to rebrand McDonald's using a hand-drawn and hand-lettered approach.
I wanted the new McDonald's to be more refined, yet still accessible. One of the biggest components of the rebrand was my decision to use McDonald's well-known nickname, "Mickey D's." The rebranding includes the logo, signage, the value meal packaging (for the hamburger, fries, and drink), the paper to-go bags, and the menu. Compostable hamburger boxes and optional to-go bags are just some of the sustainable practices that the "Mickey D's" rebrand encourages.
